We are super excitied about this Salvia, it has all the usual benefits to wildlife that Salvia’s have, but the flowers appear as plumes, much like an Astilbe, which give a really strong hit of colour and they’d look exceptionally good with summer flowering grasses such as Deschampsia cespitosa, which has a smoky appearance due to its seed heads. This is such an unusual variety, rarely seen, but hopefully about to change, because we believe that once people see this in your garden and how many bees it attracts, they’ll want it too!
